With great power comes great corruption ... I've been reading comics almost as long as I've been able to read. Over the weekend I had a conversation with someone asking about the Avengers, and I tried to explain how alcoholism, domestic violence, impregnation by robots, and affirmative action defined Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
I still pay attention to superhero comics, but my favorite comic would have to be Scott McCloud's Zot. I read those when I was in high school and recently got the collected hardcover and those stories really stand the test of time.
