Just looking for my Dream (nerd) Girl... So... Hi. Here's some stuff about me. I love bad movies, smart comedies, the ongoing hunt for the elusive Giant Squid, intelligent conversation, indie rock (post-punk), fun with computers, travel adventures, The Simpsons, MST3K, laughing at hipsters, live stand-up, fireworks, digital archiving, and writing. I play the guitar and the drum(s), I golf, I am always ready to kill an hour or two at a bookstore, I am constantly on the lookout for the nation's best Buffalo Wings, and I am generally cool with traveling to see a band I love play live. I don't like horses, carnie folk, or d--- Cheney. I do like romance, getting lost (physically) all over the globe, and enjoying the unexpected (or the expected. Either way).
I'm a Marvel guy. Big fan of the obvious suspects - Grant Morrison, Alan Moore, Jonathon Hickman, Robert Kirkman, Fred Van Lente, Bendis, Millar, Allred, Pope, Jeff Parker...i think Marvel generally pulls the best writers and gives them a shot. But i'm open to suggestion, of course.
Of the classics i like Ditko, Kirby, Infantino, Romita, Stan Lee, Toth, Gil Kane, Fox Gardner, Burgess...just tons.
