I don't do the whole thirty minutes to primp every day type thing. I'm a mascara and easy ponytail, blue jeans and shirt type of girl. I keep meaning to get a few tattoos, but it just hasn't happened yet.Let's see... I read. A lot. Not to look smart or anything. It's just that one book will mention something, and I'll be off on a tangent to track it down. I have a lot of interests that I study by myself outside of school. I also enjoy comics and manga, which is where the nerd part comes in. My favorite comics of all time would have to be Sandman, Lucifer, Preacher, Locke & Key, and I've recently started getting into the Siege series.
I enjoy going places. Favorite place ever would probably be near the ocean. I was raised in California, which is probably why.
Probably the biggest turn-off about myself for others is that I come across as either snobby or incredibly shy when people first meet me. I admit the shy part- I have SAD, which is a psychological disorder that makes it hard for me to meet people (the whole online thing kinda suggests that), but I'm not a snob. Once I get to know you I can be funny and open. I'm also incredibly loyal- once you're important to me, I've got your back for life. I won't gossip, I won't lie. That's important to me.
The biggest things I look for in a guy are sense of humor, respect for others and themselves, and a love of learning. Honestly, if someone has all these qualities, they're probably not doing too bad in all the other departments. Appearance isn't a big thing with me, because if you're serious about someone and not a shallow twit, what the other person looks like won't matter. It all comes down to personality.
