Comics keep getting better I think I first learned reading through comic books. Of course, when I started Peter Parker was in high school; now I am sooo much older than him. And Superman. Makes it hard to follow sometimes, when half a decade of continuity disappears.
Fortunately there are so many other comics now, with more genres popping up every time I turn around. What a geat time to be reading comics!
I skipped a lot over the last decade, but have been catching up thanks to the libraries.
I am happy to miss much of DC and Marvels crossovers, tho I still need my superhero fix -thank goodness for Graphic Novels.
Currently I am in love with Walking Dead and The Goon. And lots of romance stuff, Coming of Age tales, ...I'm even digging Fantasy and Manga!!
I may need reading glasses, but I don't see my love affair with comics ending any itme soon.
