Hardworkinnerd, 44

Ow... so .. many papercuts.. Turned 30 just recently and while I take a look around my office while I write this a few things come to mind. I've got a combination of some of the best jobs I can think of and I'm a darn lucky guy to have as much as I do with friends and family and the only real thing I'm missing is another person to share it with.

I'm pretty down to earth overall despite being a writer and a film maker, I guess because I get so much of my imagination out of myself in my work that when I'm not working I just like to relax with friends and a good book. I write webcomics and do interviews for indi websites and we've just recently launched a small film production company based out of Toronto so right now everything is busy but going better then I had hopes for several years ago when I had finished college and wondered what the sheets of paper I earned there would bring me. So hard work, comic books and celebrity interviews bring me full circle 7 years later as I venture out on my own again to make movies with friends and cohorts.

I am a grown up nerd its true with a love for old black and white movies from ages long dead and when movies actually had actors people cared about. Comics and Cartoons are of course never far from my hands or heart as they raised me almost as much as my parents did as I sat down to both Saturday morning with a pair of Pjs, and a tv tray fully loaded with OJ and sugar cereal. Anime crept into my life years ago and has been there ever since starting with Robotech when I was a wide eyed younger not knowing that this was from another country onto trying to figure out how to avoid edited versions of great shows from Japan on a daily basis. Aside from that Horror films are my last and longest love with movie monsters, zombies, and crazy axe murders filling shelves and boxes of plastic discs in my house. Hard to top a nice night in with friends popcorn and some creature terrorizing the youth of the 80s in plots so fantastic that you can only applause t
