My favourite comic book has to be Planet Hulk. The way the book takes a character like the Hulk, who's famous for smashing and raging out, and having him negatively accept that view of himself. I love how the story takes him on a journey to where he believes that he can only ever be a monster. To end in a way where he believes that...maybe monsters can be heroes.
