born again comic nerd My name's Ian. I'm 18 and go to the University Of Akron. I am an anthropology major and i'd like to take that and get a masters in forensic anthropology. When it comes to scholarly subject, i am a huge anatomy and physiology nerd. I'm fascinated on how the human body works. Aside from that i love video games, all music (my ipod can vouch for me hahaha), star trek, magic the gathering, comics and a bit of anime. i have recently been on a huge comic binge and the three favorite artists i have decided on in my book are geoff johns (blackest night got me hooked back into the comic world), frank miller (All Star Batman & Robin is second to Watchmen of best graphic novels i've read), and bruce timm (...nuff said). yes my favorite artists are all DC but Marvel has done more on the side of storyline (their civil war, avengers initiative, dark avengers were all brilliantly done)

i haven't really found someone in Akron with as intense of a comic love as myself so that's why i'm here
