My Common Sense is Tingling When I was younger I wasn't really into comic books. I was vaguely interested in them, and gained a lot of second hand knowledge from friends who were avid readers. I did however take a shining to Thor, probably because of my own interest in Norse Mythology. I read a few comics here and there, but with no place to easily buy comic books in my area, it wasn't something that ever caught on.

That is until now.

My interest in comic books was reignited when I became friends with people who have followed either DC or Marvel (or both) since they were children, so they are really passionate about the characters, the stories, and were really excited for the then upcomming Marvel movie adaptations.

So I finally broke down and decided to see what happened to the Mighty Thor. I now have a comic box full of current single issue comics, as well as a shelf full of trades. Over the past year or so I've managed to acquire nearly all the contemporary Thor story arcs. Half my shelf is full of Deadpool alone, and I have all the issues of the ongoing IDW Star Trek and new Hawkeye comics, among other things.

I recently moved out the larger city I was in, so I no longer have easy access to comics, or to easily hang out with people I can talk comics with, be it recommendations, good stories, bad artists, or whatever the topic of the day is. So I think I'd just like to meet some more people, to share interests and hopefully discover some comics I wouldn't have thought to read otherwise.
